Auto Accidents
Auto accidents happen everyday and can be devasting to people and cause injuries that result in acute neck pain, headaches, low back pain, muscles spasms and other musculoskeletal pain. Most injures that are a result of auto accidents are able to be treated and improved with consistent care. Following any type of auto accident, it is important to be evaluated for any injuries ASAP by a licensed health care provider such as a chiropractor, medical doctor, registered nurse practioner via urgent care, or the emergency room. Seeking early treatment can help reduce the likelihood that your injuries become a long term issue. However, it is estimated that up to 40% of people injured in an auto accident can develop chronic neck pain, low back pain, headaches, and other musculoskeletal pain.
In my experience, seeking care immediately and following the plan of action prescribed by your healthcare provider will highly decrease the likelihood your pain becomes a long term issue.
If you have been or know someone that has been involved in an auto accident, give our office a call to see if we can help you or at least advise you how to get the help you need.
